Derek Schneider
HEAD COACH
Derek Schneider is a former collegiate baseball player at the Juco, NAIA, and Division I levels earning all-conference selections as an outfielder, pitcher and catcher before going on to spend a few years in the semi-professional ranks. He has since been a coach, scout, personal instructor, and player development lead across the high school, collegiate, semi-professional, and professional levels, building top programs and developing ballplayers for over 30 years.

Patrick Williamson
ASSISTANT COACH
Patrick Williamson re-joins the Lumberjax for his second year as Assistant Coach. Following his playing career at Cherry Creek High School, he went on to play collegiately at Hastings College before earning a masters degree in Social Psychology in Sport and Physical Activity from the University of Northern Colorado. Patrick later spent two years coaching at Southwestern College, and is currently an Assistant Coach at his alma mater, Hastings College.

Steve Thompson
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR
Steve Thompson founded the Colorado Lumberjaks in 2020 and has been with the club through its rebrand as the Lone Tree Lumberjax in 2024. Most recently, he was the Varsity Assistant Coach at Rock Canyon High School, and has nearly 40 years of combined experience coaching high school and collegiate programs across multiple states including Colorado, Kansas, Georgia, and Florida.

Ty Jacobs
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR
Ty Jacobs is a Colorado native who has been around the game of baseball his whole life. After competing at the Division I, Division II and Junior College levels, he has been a strong developer of baseball talent from youth to collegiate athletes. Ty is currently the Varsity Head Coach of Rock Canyon High School, and the General Manager of HitStreak, one of the Denver area's most well known player development organizations.
